In short: What a great race. First time for me but will be back next year. In full: Outstanding organisation.... I anticipated getting lost, however the marking of the course and marshals was brilliant. The "wolf whistle" from the lady marshal made my day. Well done to Tom Frost and all of those involved in today's race. A credit to Liss Runners. Date of review: August 1, 2010

In short: Well done to all 100% better than last year In full: The start was very well organised and you could easily find your own pace without having to dodge and weave around others.
The water feature was.....different, but as the marshal said, "the shallowest bit was straight through the middle"
The new finish along the sea front was outstanding and with the wind with you I managed to finish strong with a couple of 6 min miles.
A big thank you to the race director, all the friendly and encouraging marshals and everyone else who help to but this great race together.
Also managed a PB (1:21) which made the race even better...... Date of review: November 15, 2009

In short: 3 Lap Average Race In full: Good Points: 1. It stopped raining. 2. Lots of support from the spectators.
Not so Good Points: 1. Arrived just after 9 and thought I had got the date wrong. No signs to get you to the park (although there are road signs)and no sign of anyone else apart from confused competitors. 2. Was unsure were to park and couldn't find the bucket for the parking fee (as per the race instruction). 3. No signs or marshals directing you to the start. 4. The course is fairly flat, but found the hair pin bend and some of the other bends difficult to navigate. 5. No medal and not sure what to do with the hand towel (is there somewhere we can buy the set from). 6. I appreciate its only Monday evening, but still unable to locate the results.
Personally I don't think this race should be part of the HRRL and its like chalk and cheese when you compare it with the outstanding Eastleigh 10. Which is also organised by SRC.
