In short: Tough, tough race; but fantastic organisation and wonderful course
In full: I did the 1/2 and my wife did the relay with 3 other Winchester runners. Great day out and a real challenge. Can't wait for next year! You guys who do the full marathon on this course have my respect, don't know how you do it!

In short: Very nice friendly run; but struggled trying to find the results

In short: Just read the comment by Dave Little the race director
In full: I can understand your frustrations Dave. Why don't you publish the name and phone number of the person you dealt with at Gosport Borough Council so those with a gripe can with them directly. The council have obviously not supported you or your club in hosting this event, and the blame is theirs. Bunch of wasters.

In short: Great marshalling, rubbish parking facilities, very congested at the start, dull dull scenery
In full: Arrived at 9am, parked and queued for 40 minutes to get a bl..£$!" parking ticket! Got to the start as the horn was sounding the start of the race. Start of the race was too narrow so it took about a mile to get into any kind of stride. First mile at over 9 1/2 minutes!!! I was looking forward to a beautiful scenic route along the sea front; but got two turns of a mega-industrial estate. On the positive side, the marshals were brilliant, very supportive all along the boring route. Also on the positive side, despite the start, I managed a PB. Overall it was disapointing and I will not be doing this race again.
