In short: Cold day, but fast course. Thank you marshalls.
In full: For the price of entry to this race, water in cups really ought to be a thing of the past.
Good, fast course, scenic.

In short: Very quick course, decent value.
In full: PB heaven if that's what you are after. Didn't experience too much of a delay, getting in or out considering there were over 1000 runners. Plenty of drink stations and the sponges were a nice touch.
Pleased with a 1.29 dead PB.
Two negatives would be having to sign up for the Havens website AND Paypal to enter; the entry pack had absolutely no info on where the start was, leading to a rushed logon to good old runners world prior to leaving the house.

In short: Nice club race - Welcoming for unattached runners
In full: A flat 3 lap run. Good course for a PB. Friendly runners. Thank you to the marshalls who did a great job at the road junctions.

In short: Well organised - fast - nice atmosphere
In full: Thanks BADAC for holding a relatively local (for me) 5 miler - a new distance for me, so i got a PB :-)
Course is fast - couple of short sharp inclines, but nothing to cry about. Good cheers from a couple of pubs we ran past. Chip timing and a nice t-shirt memento.
Will be back next year to hopefully improve on 36th place.

In short: Very fast course
In full: This is the perfect course if you are lookng for a PB. It was windy, but there are hardly any undulations. Nice and scenic, well organised, would have been nice to get the number ahead of race day, but the race cannot be faulted otherwise. Marshalls excellent. Thanks Bentley Runners.

In short: Good weather, nice route.
In full: Not as flat as i'd hoped for, first 2k are uphill, then rolling for the rest of the race. But hey - still managed a PB :-)

Very friendly bunch of runners at the Striders it seems, this run was excellently organised and there were many many marshalls who all did a great job - thanks to them.

Good memento in the paperweight, that will go on my desk at work - and all for a tenner. Brilliant. I will return next year.

In short: Great day
In full: There is no doubt, this is a hard race, especially for a runner used to flat roads like me. But the atmosphere and scenery make it amazing. One of those 'must-do' races.

In short: Nice scenic route, basic (turn up, run, go home), could do with one more water station. Marshalls excellent.
