In short: Bottled water and a 0900 start would make this the race of the year.....
In full: This is my first spring marathon away from London although I run Abingdon every October.

This a great race.

I live an hour away so was able to sleep in till 0630, big plus.
Parking was excellant, seconds away from the start finish, baggage/changing all good and plenty of space to relax beforehand.
It's a rolling course as opposed to say the hilliness of Bungay but it is glorious scenery for the whole race.
Slightly disapointed that there was no bottled water supplied and a 0900 start would help against any hot weather but I shall be lining up again next spring.
Halstead for fun.
Abingdon for a PB.
well done Halstead

In short: If this was cycle race then it would be The Paris - Roubaix
In full: Good parking right near the start/finish which is always a bonus and plenty of staff at hand to help you book in.

Start very cramped and found myself climbing over the back of people for the first 1/2 mile.

The course took us over type of terrain possible and some it was only single track width which caused a few problems towards the end when lapping slower runners. Could have done with bottled water instead of cups please.

It was well organised, well marshalled and a very good first attempt, it deserves to be a success but may struggle to expand much bigger in its current format.

In short: Just simply a great race........
In full: Very well organised with parking right next to the start/finish.
3 miles round the base sorts the runners our before you hit the roads but to be honest I only saw 2 cars during the whle race.
Excellantly marshalled and loeads of local support.
Superb scenery too and a lovely rolling profile with a great medal and T Shirt at the end.
PB for me too so no complaints.

In short: A decent little race...
In full: A good race 5 weeks before the London Marathon being quite a rolling course so a fair test on the legs.
Quite a walk from parking to register and bottled water would have been a big help.
Nicely marshalled though and brilliant to have your results as soon as you pull up...

In full: Don't be fooled by the race name, this has nothing to do with The City of Norwich....you could be anywhere rural.
Having said that to 3000 odd runners all within 5 minutes walk of the start is an achievement in itself.
The course is rural and flat and starts off on grass.
I made the mistake of being honest and starting off in my predicted time slot and after half a mile hit the first wall of people punching above their weight.
Very windy and exposed but a good feel throughout...A t-shirt would've been nice though.
Not offensive but could be better.

In full: I was looking for a 10 mile race a week before the Norwich Half to get some quality miles into my legs and this race ticked all the boxes.
Very undulating but still flat enough stretch out in places.
Very well organised and supported but still trying to find the race times on the webite.
A good race and often not enough 10 miles races about.

In full: Pancake flat and despite most of the roads being open it was really well marshalled.
Quite a lot of pavement running which I did not find ideal and cups of water instead of bottles.
Fantastic support throughout and really nice touch at the end to have your name read out.
Took 35 minutes off my PB

In short: A good race.
In full: Plenty of info sent out by the organisers which helps, good parking and facilities at the start also.
A very flat course but this was someone what negated by some pretty strong cross winds but that's obviously nobodys fault.
The only critism I have, and it's been the same all year is lack of bottled water during the race. When you are on the go in high winds I find I spill most of it from a cup.
I would rather pay £1 more and get bottles along the way.
Nice touch with the sponges and brilliant support all the way round.

In short: A great race.
In full: Organisers started the race an hour earlier than the previous year but it was still very hot...to be honest even if it was started at 9 it would've been too hot, but certainly worth considering a 9 start as I'm sure people don't travel more than a hour for a 10 k and it gives you the rest of the day to yourself.
Plenty of uphills but plenty of downhills to fill yourself full of air.
Great parking, great recovery centre, great organisation, great marshalling and riduculously quick times posted at the end.
You will not be disappointed!

In short: Brilliant.....
In full: What an honour to race for Help for Heroes with so many of our brave armed forces perticipating. Great parking, well organised and a lovely route obviously planned by a runner themselves.

The only negative is that despite being sponsored by ICENI water the water stations gave out cups as opposed to bottles of water......a tiny negative!

This race was superb,
A great finish, chip timing and a wonderful goody bag.
Great support on the way and the organiser kept me updated with changes all week via E- Mail over any changes made.
Deserves to succeed and a great charity...will only get better.
