In short: Flat and fast despite the wind
In full: Only negatives - would like a better medal and a few more snacks in the goodie bag, but don't read too much into this as it was an excellent race

In short: Great race
In full: A challenging course around some lovely lakes. Great supportive marshalls and fab cakes at the end. Thanks Kestrels

In short: Scenic but tough
In full: Bourne Woods is a beautiful place and enjoy walking around it and now run around it. Some of the course was very rough under feet, but more from the dry weather. Great support from the marshalls and due to multiple laps could have a bit of banter with. Water in plastic cups is a bit poor and no t-shirt despite putting size on entry form (have e-mailed Fat Feet concerning), so feel despite a good race a bit poor value for 18 quid

In short: Spalding Tri do it again... another great event
In full: I do the West Pinchbeck every year and Spalding Tri make it a special race, so was excited about this one. Wasn't sure about the start and finish loop, but it worked ok. Nice to see all the other runners with the there and back route. Great goodie bag, well themed. Hopefully this will be a regular in the race calender

In short: Another hot day, but another lovely race
In full: Second time doing this race and once again it was hot. Its a lovely course and you really get to see bourne woods. Last 1.5 miles is tough especially in 27 C temp. Thanks for Rotary Club of Bourne for organising the event.

In short: FAB again
In full: Eventhough i was carrying a thigh strain, i was not going to miss this fab run. Great organisation, great and supported marshalls. Shame my thigh injury flarred up so didn't get benefit from the last 3 miles downhill.
Think the 2 hour pacers got carried away, i went through halfway on 1 hour gun time and was a long way back from them!
Will be back next year, hopefully fully fit and raring to go again. Well down Riverside Runners

In short: Lovely scenic race
In full: A lovely scenic race with some challenge hills and wind. Good bag at the finish was a bit poor and one of the water station had run out of water for the slower runners. Some great encouraging marshalls

In short: Great Spoilt at the end
In full: My first off-road race and I really enjoy it. Tough but was expecting that. The big disappointment was the lack of XL t-shirts at the end (medium only available). So I feel that it is poor value for money because I have no memento. I have e-mail the organiser so hopefully they will sort this major issue out please!!

In short: Good race again despite being hot. Just got one grumble. Could you hand out bottle water at the finish.
In full: Another hot day but plenty of water on the way round and plenty of cheering marshalls. Can we have bottle water at the ended handed out, its annoying having to hunt for water at the end in a crowded market place.
