In short: Route was longer than advertised - so what?; a rather nice race
In full: Not a PB cpurse, but a fun stomp around the city, nice route - maybe a little congested at pinch points but it can be like that of a lunchtime anyway.

Great cause, will do again. My garmin gave 4.21m which is a chunky bit further than the advertised 3.5m!

In short: Lovely course, good organisation
In full: Lovely run on closed roads with beautiful scenery and just the one hill. Will def be repeating, if only for the hilarity in the car park!

In short: Nice route, but so windy, oh so windy!
In full: slow but very very comfortable. Windy - oh so windy - sporadic snow but never felt like I couldn't do it. Longest run for a very long time, so very pleased indeed. Forgot my garmin, and enjoyed taking the pressure off a bit. Was undulating but no killer hills. Will def. do again

In short: Puddly!
In full: Loved the puddles - really enjoyed plodding round. Looking forward to next year. Trail shoes for that one though.

In short: Definitely not flat!
In full: Really a run over the same hill (undulation?)in Swanley Paek 4 times. Wouldn't have come if I'd realised that - haven't got the mental strength for laps and hills together!
Having said that, it was a thump around in the fresh air and a medal for a tenner which I think is pretty good value. Apparently there were last minute changes to the course due to the weather, so maybe it was flat to start with.

In short: Very enjoyable - great organisation
In full: Everything went remarkably well considering my lac of preperation and the amount of vodka I'd unwisely imbibed the night before.
Long but gentle hill and fantastic marshalls - will definitely be back.

In short: Great organisation and atmosphere
In full: The hills did for me, but can't use my lack of training to knock anything about the organisation and route. As ever, many thanks to the marshalls

In short: Thoroughly enjoyable, lovely marshalls
In full: Enjoyed that. Well organised and flat, along the sea wall. Lovely encouragement by the marshalls and the people outside their houses. Will def do again.

In short: Perfect organisation, great for a newbie
In full: As a slow fat person I was worried when I saw all the club runners, but I stayed at the back and loved every minute.

Absolutely superb race, and consistent 10 min miles for the first 10m, fell off a bit after that.
V friendly, parking no probs, great goody bag - def doing again

Suffolk type hills (i.e. laughable for most other parts of the country, mountains to me), then the bulk was dead flat, then a killer hill for the final half mile.

And perfect weather. Fantastic.
Oh, and free beer in the goody bag. And soup at the end. And a big BBQ. And a banana.

AND A MEDAL - ARE YOU LISTENING WHOEVER ORGANISED LAST WEEK IN BATTERSEA PARK??!!

Well, if I hadn't already entered I'd be kicking the door down to get into the Bungay Black Dog half marathon in April

In short: Fab weather, disappointing organisation
In full: Saved by the weather - no water, no medal, long queue for the bags but very apologetic and pleasant people trying to sort it out. Would probably do it again, but only because the location is handy. For £20 I expect a bit more than this, good cause or not.
