In short: Good Muti Terrain Race
In full: Weather was poor and rained most of the run however this is my only negative point. Organsation and marshalling was very good. This is what I call mult terrain running along tracks, through woodlands, rolling meadows and ploughed fields. It was tough on your legs but well worth the pain to run through this beautiful country side. If this was someones first 10k then I suspect they may consider it tough. It is not PB potential due to nature of the terrain, stiles, kissing gates and single file tracks.

In short: Good Organised Race
In full: First time running this race. Very good organisation. Marshalling was excellent plus marking of protruding tree roots with orange paint was a very good safety point. For the first 6k was undulating and up hill, which was tough, the last 4k was down hill which was a relief. Not a race to aim for a PB due to the undulating course plus in some areas you were down to single file. All in all this was a good multi terrain race and I will be back next year.

In short: Great trail race
In full: The hill at the start is a killer. Another well organised race by Purple Patch, marshalling was excellent. The mixture of gravel track, grass, woodland trail and road made for an excellent run. Enjoyed the woodland trail. Will be back next year.

In short: Good race and well organised
In full: Good turn out and the sun coming out was welcome. The chipping timing went astray and my time was not on the first list. Email to the organisers sorted it out. Anyway I have a Garmin so no issues with the race time. Look forward to next year.

In short: Challenging Course
In full: A challenging course with a tough hill for the first 1 km. Undulating for the rest of the run. The run through the woods was great. Good organisation and even laid on 2 extra water stops due to hot weather. The course was very well marked with excellent marshalling. A job well done.
