In short: A challenging off road race
In full: The venue wasn't the easiest to find a single red arrow to give you a clue!
The route was challenging a mix of narrow paths over roots & exposed stones, broader dirt paths, gravel trails and ankle high grassed field (till the front runners had flattened it).
Water stop, not enough people handing out the cups of water.
Route finding was awkward at times not enough markers no mile markers.
Scenery would have been nice to look at if you weren’t looking at the train just in front of you to avoid all the hazards

In short: set a new PB, a flat motor racing circuit, theres always got to be potential!
In full: A good race slightly marred by the trek around the outside of the track to the start line, muddy trainers and I had only just washed them after the last one! The circuit being on the Cotswold Hills and slightly exposed does tend to suffer a bit with the wind and rain, thankfully no downpour just a bit of mist.

In short: Organisation! need I say more?
In full: I was lucky, got the medal and tee shirt, though i did see a few people with more than one goodie bag!
Its close to home, lots of PB potential and one of the first half's in the area. I may run it again but I want to try other events first.
