In short: Varied outlook, good size field, city centre start/finish line,
In full: I really enjoyed this race in spite of it being my first run back from injury.

By aiming to get around rather than for a PB I was able to enjoy the scenary, the trees, the lakes, the Diwali lights and the supporters in the City Centre.

Even the last 3/4 mile (a steady up hill) is pleasant as it follows New Walk, a pedestrian walk way laid in 1785, shrouded by autumnal trees and a good spattering of supporters.

In general the marshalls were friendly, supportive and encouraging. There were more spectators than I'd expected, some were vocal - others not so much...but they were there in the light drizzle which is what matters.

The shared use of some of the roads with cars felt a little chaotic at times, but it was well managed and the marshalls certainly seemed intent on giving the runners priority.

Could have done with a few more toilets - some were getting a bit too full close to race time!

In summary, organised, fun, supportive, varied and a great way to see the different sides of Leicester!

In short: Flat it is, interesting it isn't...there's just not enough variety to take my mind off the running...
In full: Fab to have regular water stations given the looping nature of the course and today's sunshine.
Marshalls were regular, helpful, friendly and supportive - thanks.
Good goody bag of fun treats and a medal to boot!
Well organsied and started on time...all in all a good way to start a day.
My all time fave? No, but would I do it again, probably...but hopefully I'll be fitter next time and not have to hobble quite so much on my way back to the car!

In short: Great for the Mars bar afterwards!
In full: Crowd support not half as vocal as Bracknell half last week, but a few people out all along the course. The Fete seemed to add a pleasant atmosphere before and after but I've no idea where the actual start line was!

Weather was very muggy today - and we would have benefitted from a second water station.

Good course for PB's, inspite of the hill at 4k.

In short: Great crowd support for this comparatively small race - even in the thunder, lightening and v heavy rain! Well orgnanised. I can't say I noticed the scenary particularly. Nice start/end venue - on a sunny day!
