In short: Well organised. Not sure about the route though!
In full: I agree with most of whats been said, but have to disagree about the route. The first 5 miles from Birkenhead park were pretty grim, as was miles 14/15/16 around Kings dock. I did enjoy the tunnel though, especially the drummers - deafening! That nasty hill at 17/18 was a bit of a surprise too...

In short: A well organised race
In full: Great weather and organisation. Not sure i like the whole 2 lap thing though! Those hills are steeper second time around. Thought the last 6 were mentally hard. Everytime I looked up the view hadn't changed. I agree with those who moan about the lack of a goody bag. Also, lets have a separate marathon and half T-shirt available. It seems all the large t-shirts were bought while i was still on lap 2!!

In short: a tough one for me. Those "undulations" take their toll towards the end.

In short: Well organised, but a bit exposed in places.
In full: A good event overall, but felt a bit exposed when stuggling around the 20 mile point in the wind and rain. The relatively small field means that the average runner might feel a wee bit depressed being passed by all the speedy club runners. Perhaps not a good first time race.
