In short: Challenging run in fun atmosphere In full: Ran the Bacchus half for the first time last weekend and would heartily recommend it to everyone. There was a real mix of abilities so anyone can join in - some going for good times others enjoying the views, banter and winetasting en route! Yes you read that right - this race has the best water/stop stations every - plenty of water, orange quarters, jelly babies, crisps, dried fruit and... wine from the Denbies Estate... and delicious it was too! The course is challenging with a fair bit of uphill... but the countryside is breathtaking the last mile is all downhill so a great way to finish! Added to that you are rewarded with a BBQ and a glass of wine afterwards so all in all a fantastic day out! Date of review: September 12, 2012
