In short: Poorly organised all round
In full: Late start, start moved back 20 metres as all were lined up, no distance markers apart from a couple at 5km and 8km (that were clearly not correct as I didn't take that long to get to the 5km marker and I didn't do the final 2km that quick!!!)
Handing out of medals/t-shirt was very amateurish.
I think this was definitely organised by a non-runner who was hoping to cash in.
Had high expectations of a run around Bath Racecourse but was really disappointed. I wont be back next year if it's run again...

In short: Great Scenery - but 10k?!?!
In full: Did this race 3 years ago as my first race and came back to see improvements. Hit the 5k mark in 26 minutes and was hoping for a fairly decent time close to 50 mins what with the hills. Cam in at 47 mins (and a bit). Not sure that it was a true 10k!? No Garmin so can't confirm but would be interested to know if it is 10k as would be a new PB - and flew over last 5k?!?.
Slight dissapointment with noise from some of the stewards around the course but great reception at finish!

In short: Great course...
In full: Loved the course. People were really good. Only bugbears were the course not having kilometre markers, not being 10k and I thought the goody bag was relatively poor - I'm guessing Life Fitness were pleased with it though...

In short: Good hard race with 'splendid' hills! Shame about the narrow start.

In short: Lovely location
In full: A bit bunched with the slower runners at the beginning and a few narrow tracks. other than that lovely countryside with some 'lovely' hills along the way. As in all Cancer Research races these are ideal for beginners.
