In short: Great fast course
In full: Second running and it keeps getting quicker, new PB again this year. Well marshalled and friendly and a nice memento at the end. Lots of parking but getting out can be slow, a delay at the start (i think to let people finish in the loo) wasn't welcome on such a cold day. Will be back next year.

In short: Wet and Hilly
In full: A fun event but the terrible weather made for a chilly run. Flooded in a couple of places which soaked your feet. Seemed to be all up and down with very little flat running and the hill at 12 miles was a killer. Well organised and supported so would recommend to others.

In short: Well worth the effort!
In full: A great local half marathon event. Well marshalled and organised and good crowd support around the course. Agree with the gripes about slow runners starting at the front and the organisers should look at colour coding or staggering the start. Nice medal and goody bag make the price tolerable but not a great race for a PB due to the hills and congested first few miles.

In short: Great race again!
In full: Second time round for me and this is still a great race for all-comers. Nice course with a few hills, great organisation and a good T-shirt at the end. I will be back next year!

In short: Horrible Hills, but Great Race
In full: Race was challenging with some of the hills, but there was chance to recover on the downhill stretches. Good organisation, helpful marshalls, neat goody bag with t-shirt, drink and chocolate. My wife fell and hurt an already damaged ankle at 9k, but two people (not sure if marshalls or not) encouraged her to continue - so if you're reading this, she wants to say a great big thank you! Will definitely be back next year ...

In short: Quick and friendly 5 miler
In full: Well organised local event, friendly and welcoming to all. Fast flat course would be good for PB. Marshalls and commentator cheer you on, can be tricky finding a parking place.

In short: Always a great atmosphere - nice T-Shirt
In full: Second time in my local 10k and the course was much hillier than last year (5 hills in 6k). The chosen route was not the most flattering of Derby but the great atmosphere, good organisation and run-in at Pride Park were worth it. Weather kept away the usual supporters and my time suffered. I agree with comments about the twisting course and questionable length affecting times.

In short: Quick & easy course, good PB
In full: Much better organised than I'd feared reading some previous reviews. Course is pretty much flat and a nice day meant a new PB. I have some doubt about the kilometre markers being in the right place since my split times seemed to vary more than expected. Overall though I enjoyed it and will come back next year.
