In short: Its always the race I look forward to. Brilliant marshalls. A great club and a lovely village to re-fuel in afterwards.

In full: Is there a better organised 10k around these parts? Can't think of one. Organisation smoother than a Des Lynham link. Flatish course and superb marshalls. Also the fun run is really nicely done (my 5 year old nearly broke 10mins and feels like a proper runner with his medal :-)) Thanks to Eynsham Road Runners for making one of the best 10k's I've done just a 10 minute walk from home. See you next year when I WILL break 48 minutes.

In short: Fantastic experience
In full: That was really good. The number of marshalls was outstanding. I was proper nervous about my first marathon but it went really well. Lots of crowd support in the villages but very little in Abingdon itself which was a shame. I felt like a proper runner doing the last 300m on the track and just managed to beat 4 hours. Loved it, loved it, LOVED IT! Thanks so much to the organisers

In short: Jolly good
In full: Once again a slickly run and organised renewal of Cartertons 10K. The Lady Mayor again gave up her time to present the medals..top girl. A nice friendly atmosphere and the organisers managed to find possibly the only bit of nice scenery in the whole of the town to run around (7 to 8K). I think this is a top race and i will always try to do it, but isn't Carterton dull? Cotswolds my ....P.S. The Bananas were a bit under ripe. I love a banana me.

In short: As always, very well organised. Really nice people in Eynsham. It always helps to have a chance of beating your PB and I'm pleased to say, that was my best time for 10 years. Get in!

In full: It is just one of the best places in the country to run around. If you can ignore the hills, get your head up and take in the scenery it is a special place. This might seem churlish but I think a memento of some sort would be good. It's nice that the money goes to charity but a keep sake is always welcome. It's a small niggle and the cost of the race is certainly much less than other Blenheim runs but... But running doesn't get much more scenic than this!

In short: A good, well organised start to the year.
In full: Nice to have such a good start point. Changing/toilets really good as you would expect from a Leisure Centre. Carterton is one of the world's blandest towns so it was never gonna be high on scenery, but it was well marshalled, nice t-shirt, medal and banana. All very smooth and well organised, I just don't think I'd travel a long distance to do it. Big up to the Lady Mayor for handing out the medals.

In short: Great organisation. Lovely course
In full: Hats off to the organisers. Update on web site put aside any fears of a cancellation. Lots of marshalls and a decent HQ. Splendid flat course. A great race for a first timer

In short: Just a really good place to run
In full: Spoilt slightly by the idiot in the 206. We really should report the t***er for dangerous driving.
