In short: Loved it, could put a few established races to shame with their really well organised inaugural race from Grantham RC. Good course and no naff t shirt, a burger and a locally brewed beer specially commissioned for this race. I'll be back next year.

In short: Did this race last year and loved it (yes even the hill) and this year was even better. Starting in the main arena, lead out by a horse and an improved course. Great race, excellent marshalling and I'll be back again next year.

In short: Tough fun race in fancy dress (a must). It was like a procession at some points but good banter with your fellow runners.

In short: PB chasers, accurate mile markers to work out mile splits people need not apply. This is a race where fun has a capital F and dressing up is the norm. I loved this; it was hard, wet, muddy, dark and brilliantly organised. Even the food was top notch.
In full: I've entered the whole series of the Notorious Night Runs and if the Deerstalker next weekend is as much fun I can't wait! Some races are about participation, camaraderie and not worrying about mile splits and time. It puts a smile on your face, an ache in your calves and a rosette on your chest.

In short: Great rural race. Mix of roads, track and a brilliant muddy bit. Enthusiastic marshalls with jelly babies. Spot on goody bag and a cup of tea. A much improved race from 2008. Well done Sleaford Striders.

In short: Love the race, very peeved it was shorter but guys sort out the parking. Lots of abandoned cars littered around and no marshalls helping to control the traffic which was at a standstill. Don't know how the peeps in the afternoon race got there.

In short: Great fun! Off road trail run with an equestrian course with loads of horse jumps, river crossings, cargo net and in the river under a bridge. Chip timing. Good marshals with a sense of humour

In short: Brilliant fun, great costumes, lovely trail run through the woods in the dark, best medal ever and a toffee apple at the finish. Really well organised race.

In short: Well organised race. Real mix of parks, industrial estates, riverside, an underpass, the Space Centre and a country park. 3rd year I've done it, 3rd year I've got a pb! Just a medal and a banana at the end this year though.
