In short: Very nice atmosphere and well marshalled out on the course - a good day out!
In full: A very good club race with lots of helpful marshalls. They just went a bit missing in the car parks as it got closer to the race time. Nice atmosphere around the race and when returning to the finish line. Some long drags out on the course especially 9 to 11! Enjoyed the run and worked hard. Well deserved few beers last night. Will probably be back next year to try and put in a better time

In short: Super race, Loved every bit of it!!!
In full: I am always dubious about collecting numbers on the day but this worked like clockwork due to the great organisation and superb people power! Other so-called superior race organisations should take note! Super course which keeps you on your toes, but is defo a pb course. Some long straights which make you know you hav done the 13 miles!!! Could not think of a better place to have an autumn race. Water stations well manned and good support from marshalls, also a nice town centre start and finish. Everyone was very helpful around the course, it is great to see a club putting on such a great race which must be one of the best value for money races in England. I love my T-shorts and this ranks highly. All i all absolutely superb race, well done Worksop Harriers!!

In short: Good race, lovely scenery, lack of crowd around the course , but a nice day out
In full: Got there early (8.30) so no problems with collecting number. However, am not a fan of this as i feel a necessity to arrive extra early. Better start but still crowded on at least first km. Plenty of marshalls but lack of spectators. Good finish apart from the goody bag!!! Where are te full results, any help please. Have never found the onestepbeyond the easiest race/website to navigate.

In short: Very good organisatio, very scenic course, nice T-shirt and an extremely good workouut for a sunday morning
In full: It started and finished in the same way: Hilly. I had been warned this was not for the faint hearted! A glorious race, if you have the energy to look around. This is the hardest 10km i have done, but am happy with a respetable time of 44 minutes. It just felt that you were either going up or down a hill all the time, the only flat section was the sprint to the finish line. I have never come across a course with so few flat sections, which for me made it hard as i didn't feel i could relax on the downhill sections as some were very very steep. A super race all the same, great organisation, beautiful scenery and the cold lager this afternoon tastes even more sweet after a good sunday moring stroll(????!!) Thankyou, will be abck next year to beat my time, with that little more experience.

In short: Excellent organisation - PB potential but long straights.....
In full: Really enjoyed the race from the start. Good organisation at the start with clear instructions. Course uninspiring but effective for a PB. Although today rather windy and at times the straights seem to go on forever. Althought by no means hilly, it is not as flat as i had been told, although the flattest i have done. Super results service on official site and my favourite t-shirt!!!!! (done about 6 10km's)unsure about next year, but for superbly organised and pb race you will not find better in my opinion. Thankyou for an enjoyable and hardworking sunday morning!!

In short: Directions from the motorway very poor, start very starnge! countryside good!
In full: The weather was poor but that is not the fault of anyone. However, directions to the race may as well have been non existent. Facilities at race venue were goo and it was easy to get your 'chip' with helpful stewards. The civic hall was a good base and parking (if you got there early) was not a problem. The start was very strange, this is my 4th 10k run, with nobody really saying when or where it actually started! The course was challenging at stages, especially after four and half miles. Enjoyed the experinece and did manage a PB just over 42 minutes. (Thank you to the lady in all black who kept me going with an impressive pace!) The finish was OK and the people helping with the timing and t-shirts were good. All in all good race just need a better start!
