In short: An excellent race In full: Well organise . Crew were fantastic, friendly and not "Jobsworth" as at the GNR. More water stations in the 1st ½ please. The water staion at the turn arounsd point was an accident waiting to happen. Very congested with people stopping & turning. Move it to the park entrance. Signage not very good at start & finish. Why are the baggage lorries at the furthest point from the beer tent? Date of review: May 29, 2013

In short: Brilliant organisation. Such friendly marshals despite atrocious conditions. In full: So well organised. Excellent Sports Hall facilities. Marshals were stupendious. This race usually has bad weather, so nothing new. Such a friendly race. Well done yet again BBDRC. See you at your marathon & ½ marathon in April. Date of review: November 5, 2012

In short: Well organised. Marshals "walk on water" In full: Please do it again. Thanks to those brave marshals who stood in the rain for 6hrs. At least we were moving. They were chatting & joking despite the wet & wind. Organisation excellent. Date of review: October 23, 2012

In short: Another good race. Organisation needs sharpening up. T shirts were promised. Told all my fellow runners that you get a shirt with a Lancaster on it. In full: You can't advertise a T shirt for every 10k finisher & then not have any for the majority of runners. Putting them in the public area doesn't help. Where are the results, promised for the evening of the race? Would also like to see the fun run results Date of review: June 11, 2012

In short: A challenging race with excellent organisation In full: Escellent site management with good signposting & indoor facilities.Showrrs were lovely and hot, even for a late finisher. Marshals friendly and encouraging. Water stations very efficient. Chip management at start & finish was well organised. Goody bag, well thought out & bottle of beer very welcome. In short: Needs a Running Club to organise it. 20 minute delay in full sun was not acceptable In full: Budget medal & pointless goody bag, sum up most runners feelings, notwithstanding that we do not do it for these reasons. Bearing in mind that the race booklet said that if you turned up late you would be allowed to still "start up to 10.40" Why did we have to stand 20 minutes in blazing sunshine. This is criminal. This race needs organising by a Running Club as the Cardiff ½ (Another, even larger, charity race) eventually was. Description as "flat & undulating" violated the trade descriptions act. 2 water stations within a few hundred meters of each other, after 4 miles without one, was also "cruelty to runners" and could have had serious consquences in that heat. This race has potential but someone must take a grip and bring it up to Gold BARR standard. Date of review: October 7, 2011

In short: Great as usual.Work still needed on the "Wave Management" & still more troilets at the startrt In full: My 7th copnsecutive GNR. Dfinitely back next year. BUT.... Why di I pas pink, green & white runners after one mile. Are The "Wave" marshals clourblind or turn a blind eye. New runners without a certified time should go at the back. We need Large Signs asking people who are walking (Lots of them) to go on the left. I know it's in the book but they obviously don't read that. Great support & music all the way, Thanks to all the Marshals on the course. Date of review: September 19, 2011

In short: Did not need to be any warmer with the late start of 12.30 In full: Excellent organisation. Friendly & very efficient marshals. Would prefer water bottles instead of cups. Good facilities on site with excellent commentary. The ½ marathon warm up was brilliant. Date of review: April 13, 2011

In short: Brilliantly organised & superb marshals In full: The 28th Bungay Black Dog Marathon, Half Marathon & Fun Run. So well organised with nothing left to chance. Excellent and cheerful Marshals helped to spur you on. Friendly BBDRC can even organise the weather. Much more of a challenge than flat London. Date of review: April 19, 2010
