In short: This race is one of my favourites.
In full: Brilliantly organised, loads of water/sports drink stations, beautiful route. I even enjoyed the hills at the end. And as for the cakes...yum! Definitely one of my favourite races in the year.

In full: Tough race. The first half relatively downhill and lulling you into a false sense of security and then you hit the hill at halfway! Not been in a race before where I couldn't see a single person running up the hill! Second half was really tough, had to watch the footing on the stoney final hill which seemed to go on forever. Overall I enjoyed it but I wish the organisers were more honest about the distance, I may not have done a long run the day before!

In short: A thoroughly enjoyable way to spend a hot summers morning.
In full: The organisation was excellent and the marshalls were top notch - extremely encouraging and friendly. Water and lucozade stations were in abundance. Very mean hills from mile 10 and a killer finish but one of my most enjoyed races so far this year.

In short: Love this race, firmly in my calender each year.
In full: This race is a lovely route but I prefer it in the sunshine! A big thanks to the marshalls who were cheery despite the weather. Fordcombe hill was even harder with a stream running down it, but the support on the route was great.

In short: Nice course with a challenge at 7k. Nice goody bag but car park arrangements could be better.
