In short: Cracking morning out!
In full: Perfect weather, great marshalls, lovely setting at alton water including running along the dam wall. Few suffolk style hills on the bike leg but nothing too painful!

In short: 1st ever 10k. Maybe this 'Chip' was the name of the bloke sat at the finish line with a wrist watch for the timing?!!!
In full: Really enjoyed this race as it was my 1st ever 10k, but dissapointed with the organisation. As others have said start pens were only upto 45min and the start was very congested. 'Chip' timing was a joke.
Support around the course was amazing.
I personally found the water at the end difficult to find. It was a hot day and i really needed something, took me about 3 or 4 minutes to get some water and on such a day that was a bit naughty.

In short: My first ever race and highly recomended. Friendly and welcoming, but the weather this time was pure evil!!
