In short: Friendly and memorable for the weather!
In full: Lots of friendly marshalls but those at the start didn't really rise to the difficult conditions (lots of people milling about). The race didn't seem to be signposted and would have been had to find for a non-local. Also the pre-race information was a bit lacking and the memento was a disappointment - a medal wins every time for me! The course was great and the atmosphere was fantastic.

In short: Enjoyed this race just as much the second time! Some improvements from last year, but sadly the hills were still there!

In short: Everything more than competently done.
In full: I entered this because there are not many races close to Colchester, but I'm glad I did! The race was well run and marshalled although I did not feel 100% safe from cars on some of the roads. I would definitely do this one again as I reckon it must be one of the fastest courses around. The highlight for me was the speed with which the results were published on the race notice board.

In short: Great race with a focus on raising money rather than beating the clock. A long hill up to the finish made my first PB very beatable!
