In short: Thanks Team Monster for a fantastic event In full: Brilliant event, shorter distance as previous event had to be defered, but a great Duathalon. lots of elite riders/runners but also very friendly for the novices like me! Extra thanks to the guy on the bike who helped me get through the last mile run, you were a star. Easter Eggs a nice touch too Date of review: April 28, 2011

In short: this is tough but lovely!!! In full: Nice race although tough first half and uphill start; this is hilly not undulating! Nasty hill at 4.5 miles but after 5 miles its levels out to be much easier. horrid mile or so mid way on very uneven and broken up concrete road. Definately an injury hazard there!
however having said that its a great run with a great atmosphere; very good and encouraging marshalls; beautiful scenery and just an all round nice sunday morning run! I would do it again. Date of review: September 12, 2010

In short: wow this year was extra hot!! In full: love this event its always friendly and well supported. Its a challenging course but great countryside to help you along the way. Nice momento and generous goody bag well done to the organisers. only grip was that this year was mega hot and was forecast to be; so dissapointed there was only 2 water stations! nowhere near enough in that sort of heat but well done to all the marshalls who had to stand out on the course it must have been equally hot for them!!!!! In short: superb event In full: long horned shaggy cattle; donkies and beautiful cottage gardens are what you get running this delightful rural race. extraordinarily friendly people raising money to keep the community spirit alive. fantastic little event DO NOT change it please! there are planty of bigger events around for the elite runners. A tough three laps with little undulations and a small climb at the end. But you have the option to do what you distance you feel like which is a really good novel idea. I loved this one came closer to the back then would have liked but i`ll be nack next year to make an improvement.
Thank you so much Hanworth your village and villagers are just picture postcard Date of review: June 7, 2010

In short: A very nice and well organised race In full: A great race with a brilliant atmosphere. challanging undulations till about six miles then mpostly downhill till the last climb at eight miles. Very tough in the heat. Well organised and the marshalls did a fantastic job; however it never ceases to amaze me when signs clearly say keep to one side of the road to be considerate to traffic, runners still contue to run on both sides of the road, which then causes drivers to be frustrated. The race is run in urban areas and lots of folk were out giving support (the lady with the jelly babies and the hose pipe man) which was brilliant. Thanks to the Doc who kept me running to the line!i will be back next year. Date of review: May 24, 2010

The lady at the end shaking everybodies hand to congratulate them was a really really lovely touch; made what was potentially a fast race also just perfect for the slower runners. Well done and a big THANK YOU to Thetford AC. I will be back next year Date of review: May 4, 2010

In full: BBD are a briliant running club who always put on a good race, be it their charity race on Good Friday or their marathon! good organisation, well marshalled and friendly and supportive. In short: There is a hill! In full: A well organised race with friendly welcoming and very supportive marshalls. Out and back route good as you know what your getting after half way! The first hill at 1.5 is challanging but not impossible and its shorter on the way back at 9. Not a PB course due to the undulations but very enjoyable. will do again next year Date of review: April 11, 2010
