In short: Great race.
In full: I've read the other reviews and I can add nothing original. Thanks to all involved - being greeted by name at the finish area with my goodie bag and hoodie on hand really made my day! A most enjoyable experience.

In short: Superbly organised - again.
In full: I don't think I have anything original to say. Supremely well organised throughout with enthusiastic marshalls from start to finish even for those of us at the back. Some nice touches out on the course and the delightful lady with the jelly beans was there again. Last year I said never again but I'm sure I'll be back next year.

In short: Most enjoyable
In full: A pleasant setting for the start and finish and a good mix of terrain for the race itself. I found the hill hard going but then there was a decent down hill stretch not too long after the 4 mile mark.Well organised and friendly.

In short: Very friendly, supremely well organised and a great goody bag
In full: I don't remember any negative points from last year but somehow this year seemed even better, aided by great weather. I certainly got a buzz from the stadium finish but I think the hills may have been steeper this year!

In short: Tough course; friendly supportive marshalls; superb organisation.
In full: With my first marathon coming up I was told this was a must-do race, and that it would be tough. But no-one told me how well organised it would be nor how friendly. The marshalls were just wonderful - I was pretty much at the back and they were still shouting encouragement. I have aching legs, a lovely tee-shirt and a real sense of achievement - thanks Stamford Striders.

In short: Fantastic organisation
In full: A challenging course but the hills were not as terrible as I feared (although I walked the final one). Brilliantly well organised, and very friendly marshalls, one of whom gave us a lift back to my car when we missed the last bus.

In short: Well well organised (again).
In full: I appreciate the early start, I think the marshalling and drinks stations are well organised, I like the mixture of urban and rural and I prefer a smaller race. But why do I get a medal and a t shirt saying Leicester marathon when I completed a half?

In short: Great atmosphere and superb organisation.
In full: Knocked over a minute off my PB, flapjack and bacon butties at the finish. What a race!

In short: Great organisation.
In full: The synopsis said it was off road so why did I think that I knew better? It was tough in the heat and with the terrain rock solid underfoot but the organisation was so slick that I'm sure it will run and run!!! well done to Sleaford Town Runners (again).

In short: Extremely well organised.
In full: This really is a picturesque course. Yes the hills are steep and therefore challenging but with the compensating downhills and the remainder pretty flat a number of people achieved PBs. Well organised and well marshalled, I shall definitely be back next year.
