In short: A great first marathon
In full: Really enjoyed it, very well organised, good opportunities for supporters to see you and great crowd. Yup the bit by the Power station was soulless but the music there was good.

In short: Glorious scenery and sun tan weather again
In full: Last did this in 2009 as it has been clashing with RHM lately. Lovely run and usual fab PP organisation. Oh and a course PB by 14 mins! :-)

In short: Second running of this reborn race and as ever Purple Patch were marvellous
In full: Really nice local run, good start time, very slick organisation, plenty of parking, short loo queues, a PB and, oh yes, I beat my husband by 6 minutes. What more can I say: great race!

In short: Great race: despite the later deluge!
In full: Another great race by Purple Patch; few teething troubles which they will no doubt learn from and iron out by next year. Love the "keep your number" approach. Got a shiny new PB despite an ongoing injury so pleased. Nice crowd support on the way round too.

In short: Fab mostly off road race- loved it.
In full: Shame about the lack of bluebells but inevitable with the early spring. Lovely run anway, well marshalled. PB potential only in that 12Ks are few and far between. Few challenging hills but still really enjoyable and really friendly marshalls and runners. I hear the cakes were good too although I resisited!

In short: Nice race but way too hot for me!
In full: The recurrent parts via the office park were great for spectators but a little demoralising for runners but the 6 miles not there were very nice and almost flat. I especially thank the extra volunteer water station and hose at Mile 8 and the various jelly baby spectators along the way. Under different weather conditions this could be a great PB course.

In short: Great run and I got a PB!
In full: Second year doing this one and whilst the snow drops weren't as scenic this time, the daffodils were. It felt like a smaller more serious field this year but as before the facilities were great and the organisation good.
Delighted with my result and the finish was even better this year with my family at the line and my sons escorting me round the track!

In short: Great run but The HILL was as bad as I had heard.
In full: Really nice race, mix of town and country scenery. Great finishing at the rugby club as the bar was open for us and there were good changing facilities. Only whinge is that the baggage store was not supervised, not that it was a problem. The Hill is every bit as bad as I had heard and I am glad I hadn't checked it in advance; ignorance is bliss.
Must find a 2m 400ft rise hill to train on if I do it again

In short: Almost as wet and muddy as The Grim!
In full: Well the weather was against the organisers but despite that a good turnout and insteresting route including very soggy water meadows, splashy country park and tow path, and some quick town bits. Great to have a run I could cycle to and get back in time for church!
