In short: Superb scenery - bonkers hills
In full: Fantastic setting which allowed me to take my mind off the three vicious hills! Great race though - just could not get round very quickly!

In short: Superb route, overwhelming heat!!!
In full: A lovely race, nice route and lots of very encouraging marshals - which I needed as it was soooo hot.
Would definitely do again next year - hopefully slighter quicker than my slow time this year!

In short: Great race with some tough hills
In full: First time doing the race. I found some of the hills challenging (steep!!) but then not keen on them personally. Lovely scenery and views made up for the hilly bits. Marshalls were good, organisation slick. Friendly race which I enjoyed even though I finished not far off the back.

In short: Wonderful race - fab scenery and great encouragement from marshalls
In full: First 1K a shocker but after that lovely ups and downs, through woods and lanes. Really enjoyable race!

In short: Blimey that was hard!
In full: Gale force wind, howling rain flooding my eyes and deep water to paddle through - this was the hardest half marathon ever (my third marlow)! Despite this it was brilliant and the marshalls fantastic, especially the one at about 10 miles who told me I WAS doing well and inspired me to keep going - thank u!

In short: Blimey that was a tough first half marathon!
In full: My first half marathon and the longest distance i have ever run! Only recently taken up distance running so this was a big challenge. Chose Marlow as tis my home town. Marshalls were fantastic and sooo encouraging. Shall be back next year to try and improve on my pathetic time!!!!!
