In short: Flat course and atmosphere by the sea
In full: unfortunately due to the start in a drab closed high street it gave the race a dull experience. Understandably better for organisation purposes. Nothing really to say about it, boring.

In short: Fantastic organisation - absolutely awful course
In full: Cannot fault the organisers for the show they put on (parking dodgy though) including the excellent marshalls tech tee, free food, chip timing, always fully stocked aid stations the list is endless.
However and a BIG however the course was NOT a marathon course and traffic was so anti runners, the coned section was an accident waiting to happen - some drivers drove sooo dangerously close it was scary. The lanes were not much better with cars weaving all over the place! The hills were a nightmare - i really don't think most people signed up for this. Felt the local people thought it was just a massive inconvenience with the traffic, didn't want it there either. Wouldn't be surprised if this is scrubbed of the calendar for next year. There is definitley a requirement for an alternative to london and Brighton but this in it's present form is definitely NOT it.

In short: This race is a good fitness tester for the start of the year
In full: This has got good organisation, a good undulating course with a mix of surfaces and traffic free. I do think the facilities - toilets, parking, changing, showers etc are fit to bursting with the popularity. Could be a bit busy and clubby for a lot.

In full: 3rd year in a row and it is getting better on the organisation front.Parking was a breeze much better away from the main car park, friendly marshalls(thanks as always). Maybe next year it will start on time!?

In short: Lovely route and scenery, good for a training run.
In full: I think the leisure centre organised this and not henfield joggers it showed.Only 2 water stops, which i suffered with especially last 3 miles, said 'frequent' on the site! No goody bag for £9? bit off, i don't enter races for goody bags and like to see money to charity - could do alot better all round as the route and facilities are there.

In short: That was tough but beautiful, excellent all round.
In full: A really well organised and executed race by the organisers. Trail path around Bewl water really pretty. Challenging hills and a really nice touch at the end with the band and cakes. Goody bag also great! 1st class event.

In short: Really nice low key race seemed very well organised, nice mix of terrainn absoolutely no chance of a quick run due toi the muddy trails. would definitely pop on the calendar for next year. Did i miss the water at mile 4?
