In short: Millions of friendly marshalls and pretty flat - PB for me!
In full: Had no excuse not to do this race since it was a 20 minute drive from my house! Marshalls were great and there were loads of them...nice local race =)

In short: Far too hot for my poor self, but excellent support and great scenery
In full: My friends were out with their purple pom poms cheering everyone on, gave me a lift at 11 when I wanted to die! Great scenery and organisation - although I didnt appreciate the detour over the lock - I ran 26.32 miles! Thanks to the supporting older woman in the blue jumper who turned up everywhere I went! What happened to Fort William being the rainiest place in Scotland?

In short: A great race, despite the weather!
In full: It all felt a bit ominous driving to the race in the rain and wind, but the marshalls were excellent support and thumbs up to the recovery drinks and go bars at the end - shame the last mile was into the wind!

In short: Excellent marshalls, excellent support - and beautiful weather!
In full: This was my first 20 mile race but I enjoyed it despite the undulations - it makes it all the more interesting! Great support from the marshalls and other supporters, it was a lovely day for it.

In short: Beastly uphills and suicidal downhills but great fun despite it all
In full: Great way to start 2008 - I'll be back next year hopefully to run a bit more and walk a bit less! Great comraderie between runners - and a shout out necessary to Borat for running in only a thong!

In short: Bit windy but otherwise good! Prefer out and back races though..
In full: Enjoyed this race, though would have been slightly better atmosphere for me if I knew anyone else at all! Nice and flat, well organised.
