In short: a good course but a bit short of enthusiastic supporters! In full: harder than I expected it to be but would definitely do it again. Date of review: July 21, 2008

In short: My first ever event and hard work but worth every step. In full: The local support was amazing and the hills testing. I will treasure my engraved paperweight forever!
My only tiny "criticism" is that on such a hot day, it would have been better to give outbottles of water at the half way water point as by the time I reached the second water station, my water was empty, the water station was empty and I was running on lucozade (ugggh!). However, the marshalls were most encouraging and the organisation at the finish line was excellent, particularly as I was so diorientated for the first minute or so! Date of review: June 9, 2008
