In short: Local races don't get better than this.
In full: Had a lovely morning, great scenery, bit of a challenging hill in the middle but worth it for the views. Great organisation with two running and two cycling events going concurrently but very smoothly. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, good cakes available at the end. I'll be back next year.

In short: Really scenic and suprisingly fast.
In full: Everything was good or very good. Even enough toilets for the blokes, minimal queuing, not sure about the ladies. Mainly flat and gentle undulations but the finish was tough, a nasty little hill at about mile 11 and a gentle rise to the finish. Others we disappointed with the scenery over the last couple of miles, I was past caring by that point! Will definitely be back next year.

In short: Very friendly, great scenery, well organised. Nice to shelter in the village hall when it rained!
In full: The organisers / marshals were very friendly and helpful. It would have been useful to have had a couple more marshals rather than relying on signs at some points but I did not hear of anyone getting lost this year. They did hand out maps to everyone of the route but I don't think people used them when running.
Being centred on the village hall was great, particularly when it started to rain half an hour before the race. Parking was in the field by the hall so no great treks too and from the car.
We went through bluebell woods and across the river Test a couple of times, you will not get much more scenic than this in Hampshire.
Will definitely put this in the calender for next year.

In short: My local race. Fast and friendly.
In full: Perfect conditions, several of my friends got PBs. The only real downside was the medals were very cheap and nasty. If I had known there was a shortage someone could have had mine.
