In short: Great organisation and great prizes In full: This is the second year of running this event which I would do again. It is steep for a 10k but you do get a lot of goodies for it and it has the feel of a big event, the course also measured quite a bit over. The organisation is great, plenty of loo's and great give always, goodie bags and prizes. Lovely location if the weather is good its worth spending the day there. Date of review: May 19, 2013

In short: Pleasant off road race In full: Well organised, lovely scenery and friendly atmosphere. Undulating but a pretty quick course, no major hills at all. Still a bit costly for a 10k and everyone I spoke to said their chip timing was wrong by a fair bit including mine. However I would do the race again. Date of review: November 6, 2011

Support along the way in the villages which you pass through and friendly atmosphere. Professionally organised by Meters to Miles and a great running shop worth visiting for some expert running advise. PB potential on a calm day. Date of review: September 11, 2011

In short: Flat fast course in a beautiful city with loads of good people to cheer you on In full: Positives - PB potential the cobbles are no big deal only a few 100 meters, great support all around the course, great medal (if you are into that kind of thing) Negatives - Many people in the sub 40 section who shouldn't have been slowing fast runners up suggest proof of time to get into this section if they are looking at increasing the entry size next year, parking issues and heavy traffic, late start. Overall great race and would do it again : )

In short: Great flat course, welcoming to all runners In full: Positives - Good distance for marathon training, friendly atmosphere, flat and fast (except for the wind), good range of water, sports drinks and gels. Great medal! Negatives - lack of toilets at the start for such a large attendance, stood around in the pens for a long time before we started. The tickets for the shuttle buses sold out weeks before the event, more need putting on for next year.
Thanks a great day over all Date of review: March 14, 2010
