In short: Very fast but dull
In full: Course is pure PB material so in that respect its worth it. However it was difficult to find, with no marshalls or signage on the main carriage way/round-about; there was no clock and no one could hear the instructions at the start because there wasn't a megaphone. For £14 I expect more - just hope the results are posted online soon.

In short: Easy to cheat...
In full: ..but you'd only be cheating yourself.

With multiple-circuits of the main park and laps-and-a-bit of the althletics track (both at the start and the finish) it was easy to cheat and to genuinely get a little confused. Running through a full car park at the end wasn't best use of the course either. The atmosphere was very much like the course - flat. It is however a good, easy going run to get the blood flowing again early in the season and for that reason alone I may return next year.

In short: Fast but a bit dull
In full: Distinct lack of atmosphere given the vastness/bleakness of the course. Very spreadout and quiet on the second lap. Can't fault the technology present or the organisation though. Do it if you are feeling up for smashing your PB.

In full: Can't fault the effort and sheer number of marshall's on this one but it was all a bit manic. Tedious queue at the beginning to pick-up chip and number (which nobody knew because the website isn't very clear). Course is varied and scenic. Lots of argy bargy at the end with runners jostling past people - saw 4 people get barjed out of the way - not helped by the narrow start and finish with spectators crossing the course. Better races out there for the money.

In short: Great new course and a proper medal!
In full: A much improved 2 lap course with definite pb potential. Good atmosphere with plenty of parking and sound organisation. Cool medal too showing a pair of trainers with wings and an appropriate lib-con blue-yellow ribbon and even the event DATE (wohoo!). Will be back next year to beat this year's PB.

In short: Cracking race!
In full: Lovely weather, great scenery, easy parking, varied course, great atmosphere. Will return year-on-year. Only slight let down was the cars near the finish but that's being picky.

In short: Supremely well organised and suitably challenging for non-club runners
In full: Once again, a very well organised event from start to finish. The marhalls not only did their job efficiently but everyone of them offered encouragement particularly in the tough last mile. The blonde girl particularly a sight for sore eyes at mile 9 :-) It's not the most scenic race and weaving around some of the parked cars at the beginning and end isn't great but it's a great way to start the training year.

In short: Lovely race, but start could be improved
In full: Lovely scenic route with downhill bits sometimes as hard on the legs as the climbs. Shame about the start really, it was in a really odd place with an immediate narrow downhill turn with parked cars, I was tripped as were a few others near me. Similarly the finish was a bit congested. The 10K bit in-between did however make up for this and I'll be back next year - hopefully with an improved start/finish - and a better time! :-)

In short: If you fancy a step-up choose this one
In full: Absolutely cracking race with fantastic scenery and superb marshalling. It's a challenging and varied course but the tasty cakes at the end certainly make it worthwhile. Can't recommend highly enough.
