In short: Exactly the same as the D-Day 10k In full: Exactly the same as the D-Day 10k which happens to occur on the next bank holiday monday, dont know if i would do both. Could do with more runners. The wind was quite strong which is no good for PB times as it is a competely flat course. Date of review: May 4, 2010

In short: Hilly!! In full: A hard race but managed to get a PB with some decent training (66 mins). First mile uphill seems neverending and the hill at mile 8 nearly destroyed me, but what goes up must come down!! Date of review: February 8, 2010

In short: Flat and fast and a well organised race In full: I really enjoyed the race. Nice and flat with a good stretch along the seafront. Couldnt have asked for better weather considering the gales we had the day before! Marshalls were fantastic and the whole race was well organised. The best bit was the massive 'packed lunch' we got at the end (lovely piece of cake by the way). Only my second half marathon, got a PB and will be back next year. Can we have chip timing? Due to the numbers, it took me 15 seconds to cross the start line apparently! Date of review: November 16, 2009

In short: Nice flat course around seaside town! In full: This was a pretty good race. I was a late entry so paid £12, a bit steep for a 10k but its for charity so a worthwile cause. Very flat course, some of it on grass, some on the stones on the beach which sucks the life out of your legs! I was lucky enough to finish ahead of all the queuing trouble at the end. Goody bag contained food and drink which makes a nice change as well. All in all a nice day out, and an enjoyable run. Only negative points are the very dodgy km markers - the last km went on forever and seemed far too long. Also going head on through a narrow gate with the runners coming the other way is a bit dangerous. Date of review: September 14, 2009
