In short: Even the '10k' felt brutal In full: This has to be one of, if not the toughest, amusing and most rewarding race you can do. Rob has to be congratulated on his super slick organisation, route, marshaling and amazing control over the weather, just perfect! Date of review: November 14, 2016
In short: Were the hills steeper this year? In full: What a fantastic race, superb organisation and very encouraging marshalls! Conditions were good this year and the huge lake in the middle of the track had been filled in. Will be back next year for more punishment!
In short: No amount of training will prepare you for this, you will never forget this one! In full: I am sitting here typing having finished the run at 1pm, however I don't really feel like moving! My legs are toast, however this is an incredible race with fantastic organisation, amazing views and is very supportive, with superb facilities is it hard? You find out! In short: Loads of fun but as tough as they come. In full: This was even better organised than last year especially the number collection at the start A* Much less muddy than a year ago but somehow the hills seem steeper, especially the short road section! Great organisation, the jester was encouraging! and goodies at the end excellent. Well done Dr Rob another epic to remember!! Date of review: November 25, 2013
In short: Excellent cakes at the end! In full: Great run very quick as flat (a lot nicer than Bristol) and not too many people doing the run. To improve this race close all the roads that the race goes on, a main road near the end was scary even when you can hardly see as you are so knackered. Cakes at the end were superb. Medal ok. In short: What fun, a little muddy in places. In full: Lovely conditions, at times but a little soft underfoot. Seriously.... probably the hardest race I have ever done. Date of review: November 26, 2012
In short: Crackers but not knackers, superb!! In full: Great fun, lovely scenery, worth the 130 mile trip from Bristol. Wasn't Borat a little over dressed though? Top marks!! Date of review: January 2, 2008
