In full: My first marathon and couldn't have chosen a better one! Wasn't too bothered about the delay with transport, it just gave more opportunity to talk with lots of new faces. I was warned in advance, although a mainly downward run, the hills come at wrong places during the race and make it really testing. Have to mention a charming lady who helped get through the final 8 or so miles. Thanks K, WON'T FORGET YOU.

In short: PIcketts lock has changed since i was a lad!
In full: The course was a mixture of very pleasant to the not so nice. But that doesn't matter when you have such a fantastic finish at the stadium. Spectators would have enjoyed the tannoy commentary at the end, classy touch. Flat course for those searching for pb's. Lovely medal and t-shirt. Proud of my local race! Back next year.

In short: awkward venue for such a big race
In full: Getting there was desperate. Thanks to two great guys who stopped to share their cab with my family. Music wasn't an inspiration, as i suspected really. The locals cheering along the route were more helpful, big respect to all of you. Good course though, distance markers were too flashy and not enough of them. Can't trust London transport to do this again. Shame because i got a pB.

In short: Challenging hills, great organisation.
In full: First time i've run this event, and so far for me its been the best 10k anywhere around London area this year. Organisation was spot on. The course was hilly in lots of places, so no PB here. Finish line was very welcome, even the final straight had a slight incline! Good fun, well done TPAC.

In short: Narrow course, hilly, challenging
In full: Ten minute delay made warm up tricky. Is it possible to close some roads just for a couple of hours. This would make it much easier for the the runners and indeed safer. Nice friendly race, with some nice touches at the end. Hope the blatant cheat in front of me didn't get a spot prize! Too tired to complain. Water melon was fantastic.

In short: excellent support all the way from start to finish
In full: Quite a testing course, lots of obstructions to avoid and some tight corners,(musn't forget to mention the hills). Overall this was a special local community event, pleased to have been a part of it. Definitely do it next year. Anyone know about official times and places?
