In short: First time - the crowds are incredible! In full: I have done a few practice events, 10k, half marathon at hastings. With 35,000 runners the FLM is a logistical nightmare. But it is incredibly well organised. Wow. And the crowds are sensatoinal (even in the rain) Date of review: April 16, 2008

In short: Tough course - organisation at start was average - and where was the ambulancee In full: I thought the course was great, and the unexpected number of hills challenging. Although you do get to come back down!
I thought the start organisation was poor with very few signs so when arriving in town I had no idea where to go.
And finally a guy collapsed and seemed to have a heart attack behind me. It took the ambulance 13mins to arrive. Disgrace and the sort of delay which could be fatal. It is a big enough event that the need for an ambulance is likely and should be on hand as standard Date of review: March 17, 2008
