In short: Wow! Major snow topped hills & winter breezes. Great fun
In full: Includes every kind of surface you can think of. Challenging hills, charming views, great runner and public interaction all the way around. Plenty of marshalls, mountain rescue teams and directions. By far the most challenging of my 24 marathons. Great to know you have done it though :0)

In short: The most organised race out of the 230 I have done
In full: Wow! Adrian (the organiser) kept us entertained on Facebook for several months in the build up to the race. The organisation, volunteers, technical running shirt, humour, medal, goody bag, bands & Elvis singing on route along the coastline and 2,500 runners make this the UKs number 1

In short: Thru the Mersey tunnel & along the river front
In full: Wow! A few uphill challenges, including coming out of the Mersey Tunnel and a great final 3k along side the Mersey River. Two friends did their first ever race and loved it. Great organisation, 1,800 runners, two bottled water stations and great goody bags. Highly recommended
