In short: Fast, flat (mostly) and excellent organisation - thanks
In full: Last ran this in 2008 and it's great to see how the organisers have gone out of their way to sort out the little bits that didn't quite work to make this years run so fantastic. Marshalling was great and I loved the band in the base to spur us on. If the organiser had a magic wand my only request would be to pop a slight downhill in along the promenade bit and provide a bit of a following tailwind...?! Great race Gosport, see you next time.

In short: Excellent race and the Cornish drizzle made this years race even better!
In full: Very well organised race. Fun runs (and beer garden!) mean there's something for the whole family. I'll be back next year!

In short: Excellent race with a mix of terrain (hills!) and slick organisation.
In full: The village fete atmosphere makes this a great evening event to bring the family along to. They get to do the 1 mile fun run, still with a challenging hill, then retire to the beer garden to wait for the 'trotters' to return. Excellent start/finish crowds. I'll definately be back!

In short: Excellent pre London preparation. Well marshalled, quiet roads.
In full: Second lap easier than I thought as you knew who was in for the 'long haul' by that stage and I found a briliant Andover runner to keep me going (thanks Jon). Lots of club runners, but still a friendly feel to the race. I had no problems with baggage, toilets, drinks stations etc, all seemed fairly efficient. I did notice the lack of sports drinks enroute, but no big deal.

In short: Well organised run. Great (warm!) headquarters for all your needs!
In full: Many thanks to the marshals who spent a very chilly morning keeping us runners on the right track. Very smooth and relatively uncrowded start, considering the numbers. Suprised to manage a PB. I think the downhills helped! Brilliant HQ with great facilities. After the race, the baggage did take a while, but at least we were waiting in the warm.

In short: Great event with challenging hills (especially going down!)
In full: Well organised with lots of local support. The route was fun with plently of ups and downs and mud, despite the freeze. Loved the cakes and teas at the finish! It would be helpful to have a changing tent as I doubt anyone finished the race without being covered in mud!

In short: Mist... forest ponies.... sunshine and sea! Great race.
In full: Well organised and marshalled with quite a few locals out to support too. Lovely new forest scenery and coastline. Shame about the last bit but not many other choices of route if you want to start and finish at the same place. See you next year!

In short: Scenic, well marshalled just a little too sunny!
In full: Good support from locals and marshalls. Drinks and sponge stations efficient and well located. The start would have been easier if more pace boards were used and if runners were encouraged to position themselves appropriately.
I would have appreciated something to eat at the finish eg. banana, cereal bar etc as hog roast not really my thing and took ~20 - 30 mins (even before the queues built up).

In short: Pleasant route with good organisation and marshalling.
In full: Overall, a well marked course with plently of supportive and friendly marhalls. The second half of race was harder with longer uphill in last km. The water station worked well for me, but was perhaps a bit early (4k). As the weather was quite warm, I was hoping to find a second water station later on!

In short: A brilliant way to experience a little of what the New Forest has to offer.
In full: Good family day out with a village fete atmosphere. The run itself was undulating, but the weather conditions meant this was not too energy sapping this year.
