In short: Very enjoyable half marathon
In full: Weather was great after the downpour 30mins before the start!!!.
Organisation was very good, all ran smoothly, plenty of marshalls and water stations.
Course was good, a couple of challenging inclines in places, roads were quite tight, especially when runners decided to walk 4 abreast across the road blocking the whole road, not good!.
Overall, really good event, nice medal, good goody bag!

In short: Average all round.
In full: Organisation was average, marshalls could do with being a bit more vocal about the routing.
route wasn't great, first few K are through tight roads, and with people STILL wearing ipods, even though the rules state otherwise, made for a tricky couple of K, suprised not to see any trip ups TBH.
Then the route opens out into what can only be described as an industrial estate, which is a bit draining.
Things get better after the 5k point, when you hit the promenade, but having to fight your way through the sunday daytrippers made it heavy going at times, dodging pushchairs and wheelchairs!!.
Nice medal and stick of rock though, and a new PB for me at 58mins, meant it did have some positives, and the weather was pretty nice for late October!.
Not sure I'd travel for the event though, but considering its just down the road, I'll probably do it again.

In short: Fairly flat and fast, but very bleak out on the fens
In full: Top notch organisation, great medal, route was pretty flat, and on a good day, should be good for a PB, but today the wind was shocking on some of the sections.
There is some nice support through the village, but its really, really bleak out on the fens with no support apart from the great marshalls.
Good facilities, but its not really suited to beginners, I quickly found myself towards the back as the pack shot off.

In short: Outstanding scenery, and a very fun course
In full: The scenery was outstanding, and the multi-terrain 10k course was challenging, without being too aggresive, would have liked it a bit muddier!!!!.
It was a pure charity run, no timing, route was poorly marked towards the end, and according to my partner, no one did the extra 0.6mile dog leg for the 10k, this was due to poor sign posting and poor marshalling.
Overall, are very, very nice, scenic training run, but no more than that.
Medal and goodie bag were a nice touch though, would probably do it again just for the scenery, it was that good

In short: Well organised race, route not so good
In full: All in all a very nice race, lots of different abilities, well organised, the only problem I found was the route, it was quite narrow in places, and this meant the traffic on the roads was a bit of a hazard.

In short: Very well organised and enjoyable race
In full: Busted my PB by 5mins on this race event, loved every minute of it, very well organised, course was challanging without being too punishing, good mix of abilities, and a nice glass tumbler momento.
Very good overall!!
