In short: After big build up was disappointed. Chaos after the race, one size fits no-one Tshirt
In full: After waiting 5 years to get a place, I was less than excited by the actual experience. The expo was dull, the organisation at the start was v.good, but the after race crowd control was v. bad. Very little information on closures of tube station entrances, very irritable police and no-one planning the communication. Must have been grim for the spectators and distressing for runners who were exhausted.

In short: Charming local race
In full: What can I say? even the weather decided to smile on this race. The organisation was smooth and friendly, the course was pleasant and the marshalls were really friendly and supportive.

In short: Surprisingly Hilly, quite a challenge
In full: An interesting 2 loop course through beautiful Burnaham Beeches. Some great rolling downhills and a coiple of steep climbs. nice atmosphere and the money goes towards preserving the Burnham Beeches reserve - great

In short: Hot, hilly and not well organised
In full: What a shame the poorly planned start time, dreadful car parking, lack of toilets and too few drinks stations almost managed to spoil what should be a fantastic event.I did the Windsor triathlon this year and the organisers there did a much better job despite triathlon being 3 sports and right in the centre of Windsor. Please get the organisers to read the feedback.

In short: A toughie, but good.
In full: well organised local race with a good mix of runners from club to beginners. Glorious scenery, great marshalling - one to do again. The only gripe was the baggage reclaim - the poor guy had no idea and it was a disaster getting your kit back.

In short: Lovely venue, let down a bit by organisation.
In full: The park was beautiful; tracks, paths and shady sections. Relatively flat, plenty of parking - horrible toilets and a long way off. The race briefing was non-existent, the course was 2 laos of a figure of eight not the 3 laps advertised. There were doubts over the accuracy of the distance and the time keeping left a lot to be desired. BUT - even then, I enjoyed the race, the setting and atmosphere was good and the marshalling not bad at all. The volunteers were jolly.

In short: Strange race, more wading than running - the last 3 miles made it worthwhile
In full: A cold and frosty start with glorious sunshine. The organisers made a bad decision to delay the race by half an hour for late-comers. This really spoilt the start, as we all got very cold. Should have dome a 10.30am start for the majority and an 11.00am start if they wanted for the late arrivals. Nice set of race officials and supporters; plenty of loos and baggage facilities.
The first 5 miles was hideous - very wet and muddy; plenty of thigh-deep puddles. The last 3 miles were glorious running on tracks in lovely countryside. Would do it again
