In short: Brilliant - the sun was even shining today!
In full: Thank you so much to all the people who make this happen. It's a great race, top organisation & a cracking course; long may it continue...

In short: This is what it's all about! If you ever wonder why you run, why you should run, sign up & find out...
In full: Brilliant race, my third time out so one more for the full set of coasters! First time in the dry & first time to properly catch some of the stunning scenery. Amazing race, really friendly & brilliantly organised.
Only downside was the over officious parking attendant - you could give people a break when there are thousands of extra people in town for the day!

In short: For me this is what it's all about, a race that really works over a tough but enjoyable course...
In full: Second time for me this year, thankfully not as hot as 2011! I found it easier knowing the course an being able to figure out how to run it a bit more tactically, next year I'll have honed this art and have another 5 mins of my time!

Basically you need to be prepared to run uphill for 13-15 miles, then switch to do 7ish on the relative flat before hitting 4 with some epic downhills - I love it a great course! All (I guess depending on where you place) in a fairly solitary manner. It's one which works the head as well as the legs but really has everything to keep pulling you back, I'll be there for 2013...

A big thankyou to the organisers & marshals, you make the event and I think it's testament to your efforts that it's a really easy one to turn up to and participate in with the minimum of fuss. My one request would be for some massage facilities at the end, my calves were crying out for one yesterday!

In short: Disappointing...
In full: Communication was the key today and unfortunately they got it wrong here. Whatever the reason (and I appreciate the organisers do a great & difficult job) walking round the corner to the start with 5 to go and being told by a passer by that the marathon was off is just not cricket!
Weatherise this was fine, not the nicest but I've raced in worse and will do so again, you train, you practise and you prepare, it's what running is all about! I can only presume that the rumours I heard about flooding were correct but the only part I could see in any danger was in the last half mile and surely this was avoidable?
Difficult to understand the motivation without hearing the official explanation, all I would say at this point is disappointing, the communication could and should have been better.
Maybe I'll try Manchester next year, they can deal with rain up there!

In short: Tidy little race this one, good field and nice undulating course...
In full: This is a really friendly local race, well organised by Droitwich AC. They are really good at keeping in touch, doing the simple things well and providing for a range of people. Please keep it the same, I'll be back for the third time next year...

In short: Awesome!
In full: This has to be THE race of the year, there are faster ones, slower ones and different locations but Snowdonia has it all. I love the fact the whole area gets behind it & the course is well, unique. The ultimate marathon challenge here in the UK...

In short: Probably the best marathon out there...
In full: What a fantastic race, this one has just about everything you could wish for. It's a proper running race organised by runners for runners and it does it all...

Course is fast but undulates and keeps the interest all the way, it's PB territory but you have to work for it.
Whoever thought of names on the bibs is a genius, the locals all used them and it was really up lifting.
The support was fantastic all the way round the course, it takes alot for people to agree to closing the course but then to come out and support fantastically, brilliant!
The organisation was second to none, everything thought of, lots of nice touches - awesome job, thankyou!

If there is one thing I'd ask the organisers to do it would be to keep doing the same thing and I'm sure 2012 will be just as brilliant, do this one!

In short: This one rocks, you won't do many more relaxing & scenic 26 miles...
In full: Fantastic race, great VFM, good organisation, really good atmosphere and a cracking PB for me! Happy day out :-) If you like smaller races and a challenging course this one is well worth checking out, I'll be back to do it again...

In short: I love this race! Definitely the best half around...
In full: Bracknell never ceases to amaze, third time out, third PB on a course that really shouldn't be PB material as it's challenging. It's a cracking race though, good field (through the three different time phases I seem to have been running in) and brilliant organisation.

Many thanks to everyone involved, especially the marshals & people of Bracknell, never short on encouragement. This one has a real feel good factor about it, give it a shot!

To the organisers, excellent stuff, please keep doing it just the same, you have a really special event...!

In short: 20 miles for a cheese cob - but what a cheese cob! Great race, run it...
In full: Second time out for me on this one and it didn't disappoint! The course is challenging, setup fantastic and lots of encouragement.

Thanks Ivanhoe & Ashby, a great event with lots to be proud of, please keep doing it just the way you do.
