In short: third brighton - would love to do again but only if race # gets mailed out
In full: Lucky with the weather!

Nice race ; great support (other than round power station).

But won't do again if organisers force us to pick up race packs beforehand. Meant two trips to Brighton rather than one. Not worth it.

In short: Nice run

In short: Tough but great race
In full: Fantastic scenery. Great marshalling. First time with timing chips this year but no problems. Lots of tough ups & downs though all pretty short. Great race & thank goodness wasn't last weekend!

In short: Good time at the seaside!
In full: Great race. Small, friendly, good for those at the front & the back. Probably the best goody bag I've ever got - included huge toblerone plus a can of strongbow! And really nice slate coasters for those doing the double. Lucky with the weather both days - there's nowhere to hide next to the sea if the rain really hits.

Despite having to turn around every three and a bit miles and go through a gate each lap, time wasn't bad - was within a few minutes of PB.

In short: Great race but so, so hard
In full: Fantastic route, great organisation, fabulous tshirt plus medal plus belt buckle. All round very very good. But those steps at box hill. I hate the steps at box hill. And with the 100 you need to do them twice! Aaahghgh!!

But if you want to run a 100 (or a 50 or probably a trail marathon as well) then do thiz one.

In short: Really hard but great fun
In full: I knew about the bog, but somehow didn't realise quite how much would be running up hills or mounds and then straight back down the other side - far too steep to run. Mostly a really tough, really good trail run then they throw in a couple of mud baths / lakes just to make things a bit more interesting. Lots of fun, great scenery, great run, well organised, nice goody bag. Good stuff. As that other lot used to say - just do it!

In short: The tough one!
In full: Do you know what 3450ft of climb means? It means 12% of the way to the top of Mt Everest! And the weather this year was AWFUL. But fantastic organisation, lovely biscuits etc on the way round. And for once I was even thinking about doing it next year before I finished....

In short: SUPERB EFFORT
In full: fantastic race - great scenery, great organisation, fantastic crowds, perfect weather!

Just one thing - if we have to run through an industrial estate without any supporters (except that bloke with the bike), PLEASE don't make us do it at mile 20+!

In short: Superb but very, ver y tough
In full: What was great:
- the people
- the scenery
- the challenge (oh those hills....)
- well organised: good start, loads of marshals, loads of people out to cheer us on, goody bag, great medal & t-shirt, pasty & pint!

What was bad
- weather. terrible. But Cornwall in October...

A great race - can't believe it was 1st they've organised - will be back next yr after 12 months of hillwork.
