In short: Great Race!
In full: This was a great race, we tied it in with a visit to Southend on Sea (20 mins away). I wasn't expecting it to be such a trail based run (not my favourite) some parts were definitely single file and a little rutted. However the marshalling was excellent, so was the organisation and atmosphere. Enjoyed the refreshments too! I won't do again but would recommend this race to anyone who fancies a scenic trail run commemorating an inspirational lady.

In short: Tough, Hilly...Loved it!
In full: My first duathlon event, perhaps a tough first choice but worth it. Multiterrain undulating runs with a hilly bike leg where the rider is rewarded with very fast downhills but punished with tough uphills especially the climb into the village following the steep long previous uphill. Well organised, great goody bag - I'll be back next year to beat my time!

In short: NIce Run with PB Potential
In full: This was a nice 10km run for an easter Monday morning. Plenty of PB potential along the old railway track. Well organised except for the 20 min queues at the registration point. I think these could havbe been negated by having one person who could have dealt with the on the day entries.

In short: Friendly, well organised with PB potential.
In full: This was well worth the wait following the snowy postponents of Dec and early Jan. Well organised and friendly, good marshalling and signs. Combined with the slightly undulating course and tarmac paths this is a good race for PB hunters and beginners alike.

In short: Well organised, different great track definate PB material!
In full: Took it easy on this one! Aimed for 49 - 50mins did just that so very pleased. Good run, some crazy headwinds that disappeared when you hoped for them to be on your back. Well organised with a nice medal. I look forward to trying for a new PB in March.
