In short: Fantastic!
In full: Organisation, course, marshalls, goody bag and weather were all fantastic!
Always amazing how people find stuff to criticise. Expensive? What do people want for 3o odd quid!!!??? The same people probably don't think twice about spending the same on a curry, a beer and a packet of fags! Traffic problems!!!??? Leave earlier, instead of expecting to bowl up at 15 minutes to race time. Too many runners!!!??? Well go and find some village race to satisfy your need for space. Goody bag not good!!!??? Oh brother, I suggest you find another sport.... Just my two cents.
Fantastic race. I'll be returning every year for this cracker!!!!

In short: Very Good!
In full: Firstly, I think it is pointless to moan about runners in the wrong starting area, as these ignorant half-wits will happily do it every year, no matter what is said on forums etc. It's definitely not just ill-advised newbies that do it. Looking at the gun and chip times, I noticed two female runners from the same local club (let's call them Ethel and Doris) whose chip times of 2h4m were only 20 seconds faster than the gun time. I wonder what Mr Makau and Ms Yelling made of their competition?! Oh, and before anyone mentions it, there are hundreds of similar cases on the results page. They all couldn't have arrived as the gun went off or suffered cramp and therefore ran a bad time....
Bugger, I think I've ended up moaning about what I said was pointless moaning about....

I ran at my (hopefully) FLM pace and finished in 1h55m, so I did not suffer any of the aforementioned problems with medals, Lucozade, goody bags etc. Shame on the organisers for not getting it right for everyone, though! I used the blue car park and had no difficulties to or from the event. Toilets, marshalling, crowd and route were all good. And yes, the stadium finish was a great one..
One final thing...Why do people criticise the scenery? What are they expecting to see in a run around Reading? To quote Basil Fawlty...'Sidney Opera house, perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeast sweeping majestically across the...'

In short: Very enjoyable!
In full: Flat!? Let me say it again....Flat!? To me, (a half-marathon rookie, who only did Wokingham as a warm-up for my first and last attempt at London) flat is something WITHOUT a gradient!
'Flat as a pancake'....'Very fast'....'Great for PB'S'.....
YOU RUNNING LOT ARE BANANAS!
I think I may need some divine intervention on April 13th!
That aside, I found the car parks, organisation, marshalling, water stations, 'gun to chip' timing and start procedure all fine.....There! Someone had to say it!
