In short: Great Atmosphere but really, really busy
In full: First time doing this event. Really looked forward to it because of the location and running past lots stunning London landmarks. Atmosphere was really uplifting and loads of people had made the effort to come out and cheer, despite the horrendous weather. However, there were circa 13000 runners and it took a good 25 minutes from the time that the gun went for me to cross the start line purely because of the sheer number of people, and there were still a huge amount of people behind me. Shame they couldn't have staggered it according to your expected time. Would have meant that those that wanted to go off quickly could and those that wanted to start slower could have done. Would probably do again, but just get there earlier to be a little closer to the front!

In short: Ok, although the weather could have been better
In full: Ok race, the weather was pretty horrendous and rained throughout the race. Slight confusion as there was a desk to register for a particular charity and one for those who weren't. Should really say that there are limited locker facilities. Apart from that, great race - friendly atmosphere!

In short: The weather was dreadful, but it was worth it
In full: The forecast said sun, we got torrential rain instead. It didn't spoil the atmosphere which was upbeat. Personally felt harder than the recent 10K I had done, but I think I managed a personal best so it was worth it.

In short: Great first 10k run
In full: My first 10k run. Perfect weather for it. Thoroughly enjoyed it and left with a smile on my face. PB as well which made me want to shave another couple of minutes off next time!
Thank you!
