In short: One of the best organised races you're likely to run
In full: Fantastic run which will become an annual race for me on Boxing Day. Organisation and pre race information was fantastic...Race day organisation was simple, unfussy and very effective. Course itself is quick with a couple of hills to keep things a bit interesting. Crowds through the village are fantastic and worthy of a much bigger race. One of my races of the year.

In short: A 'proper' road race
In full: Thanks again to Bedford Harriers who, like last year, managed to organise a 'proper' running race. The organisers keep things simple but effective.

The bus transport from the car park worked excellently in my opinion, although still saw plenty of runners parking half on pavements in front of peoples houses...odd Tesco car park mentality to want to get as close as they can to the start.

Chip distribution was quick and effective, for those who got there with plenty of time the toilets were plentiful (if you leave it until 5-10 minutes before the race you will be queing...), baggage drop simple (again get there early) and the start organisation meant to congestion at the gun.

I find this a challenging but still quick course. It does have some hills but nowhere near as bad as you might think from the profile map. Marshalls friendly and supportive, water stations perfect and post race food was most welcome.

School provides an excellent HQ and it's nice tobe able to have a shower after a race with a long drive home.

Thanks so much...will be back.

In short: Well organised 'big city' race
In full: For a 'big city' race I thought this was well organised and well structured. I was fearful when I saw the baggae storage queue (massive) but it was all very smooth and quick once inside the NIA. Start was good for the quicker runners and I got of to race pace from the start. Certainly not an out and out PB course, downhill first mile but then regular climbs (steady, not steep) until 8-9 miles. Short sharp climb to the finish.

Giveaways at the end were great, making the race good value. Only minor gripes - course 200m long - meausred by all around me, not just GPS but footpods too...this is not good! and that the pre race info had been clearly written by a Council Communications bod rather than a runner as it lacked useful specifics on the public trasnport, baggage and start pens. All in all though I would recommend this if you are after a big city race...it was well done.

Thanks for the locals who came out in the drizzle.

In short: Excellent challenging MT 10k race
In full: Thanks to all at KADS who helped to organise this tough multi-terrain 10k. Point to point course finishing higher than the start so mainly up hill. I finished 6th and a minute down on my 10k PB but really enjoyed the race and well worht the trip up form London. Good standard of runners. T-shirt fits. Great Marshalling and range of prizes. All in all excellent race and I'll be back.

In short: Fast race, good value, well organised
In full: Was staying in Brighton for the weekend so thought I would pop over and run this. Really flat course with lots of PB potentil if the wind stays down...which today it did. about 1.5km of grass running and a short stretch of pebbles are the only things which stop this being an out and out PB course.

I was in first few hoe so I missed the finish line issues which could have been easily avoided but I have to say for me I thought this was an exceptionally well organised event, from the parking to the the marshalling, friendly local support and water stations. Excellent value as well I'd say with a medal, free parking, a goody bag, free hot drinks and a massage for a small donation. Excellent stuff.

Crowds down the finish were great...though the 'warm up' at the start could thought through better perhaps as it was hard to hear and I think most people just wanted to get going. All in all a really great race though I'd say. Highly doubt the issues that cropped up this year with the finish will happen next year so don't let that put you off.

In short: Another excellent event..
In full: I have not experienced a bad race organised on the Lakeland Trail Series. Another well organised and testing trail race. I struggled today with the hills (although smaller than Hawkshead I was lacking a lot sharpness) and the boggy stretches....however the competition was good - finished 23rd today - a few good standard elites runing today. Scenery was stunning...indeed the course is well thought though to take advantage of this. I almost stopped at once stage to admire the view through the mist of the streams running down the fells. Beautiful.

Good t-shirt, chip timing this time (though not sure why this is needed on a trail race like this), great organisation at the start and finish as usual. Although these events are expensive to enter I still believe you get value for money in terms of organisation. Results up online before I had even finished my post race cup of water...good effort all.

In short: Beautiful but challenging well organsed MT race
In full: Very well organised first running of this tail 10km race.

The course was tough, I came in 6th but would have to put in a fair bit more hill workt o be realyl competitive here. Although the course was not too dry I'd recommend offroad shoes for those running next time if purely to give yourself the grip needed for the pretty much constant ascents and descents. Although none of the the hills were big in themselves they were regular and steep enough to be a test.

Beautiful course, excellent atmospehere and a good qaulity field with a mix of strong club runners through to first time runners. Well done to all.

In short: Well organised PB Half
In full: There are many excellent, well organised races in this part fo the world and Wokingham was no exception.

Organisation was fuss free, and efficient. No queues for toilets, showers or baggage drop. Start was smooth with no congestion and allowed mt to run at 6mm from the off. Definately a PB course, although I missed out.

Was a hot day but runners well catered for with regular water and free tea at the finish. Nice medal too.

Well done all, will be back next year.

In short: Fantastic race, great organisation.
In full: Hats off the organisers of this great race. I entered on the day and for £8 (cheaper in advance) I got one of the best organised, friendly and challenging races I have run..including a free pint and a momento mug - hand made by a potter..!

This was my first win, nice prize giving ceremony where I was awarded my trophy by amd paralympic silver medalist..tough course with very windy conditions but if you take the first 2k steady you'll enjoy this race.

I will spread the word more widely next year as this race deserves at least 5 times the 120 who entered this year. Thanks and well done to thee organsiers.

In short: Excellent 10k Series - well organised
In full: For some reason I never manage to run fast around the Regents Park course, but it is generally a fast course. 3 loops and a couple of tight corners does nto make this 100% a PB course but still generally flat and quick.

Organisation and marshalls are stop on and it's as friendly a race as you will find in London.
