In short: Interesting race with road and farm tracks well marshalled and well organised
In full: Was well marshalled and well organised and there can be no faulting the race there.

The course was challenging with plenty of undulations but all in all very enjoyable. There is PB potential but you need to keep focused over the first 8k before enjoying the 1.5k downhill at the end. Well recommended and would do it again.

In short: Flat Fast Race. Great Scenery
In full: My first time on this flat course. The scenery is great, spectators were sparse but marshalls where fantastic and encouraging. Could do with a few more loos.

In short: Great Race to Round off a dull year
In full: Another fantastic race by Royston Runners, I think that this course definitely a under-rated course with a hidden PB in for everyone, as it has a mix of a few steep climbs around 3.5, and then 5.5 as you turn back to finish, plus a few nice long down steady down hills to compensate.

In short: Great Flat, Fast Race
In full: I have completed this race 5 times now and have always enjoyed it. Okay getting in and out the city by car can take a bit of time but other than that I think that it is a fantastic course. There is very little in the way of undulations meaning that it’s has great potential for a PB and is a good 10 miler for 1st time runners over this distance. Despite the rain and wind over the last 3 years there is always a fantastic amount of support for the runners, so full credit to the locals and spectators.

Though I do have to agree with some of the previous posts about people being a bit over ambitious with their entry time. I can understand about people wanting to enjoy the moment though it is a little frustrating coming across a line of 3 people walking within the first mile.

In short: Great Race And Great Organistion. Will do it again next year
In full: This was my first time doing this race and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Organisation was spot on just enough people in the right place to make it run smoothly plus they were all supportive and give lots of encouragement and very friendly. Will look to do it again next year, as while it was challenging in parts it was also one of the best race I have done and very rewarding to finish it with a reasonable time.
