In short: Credit due once again to the organisers In full: Once again the organisers managed to stage a great race along the front at Moels. The view is beautiful whatever the weather, although the fine weather this morning gave it an extra sparkle. Lovely, friendly atmosphere. Long may this race continue. In short: A wonderful start tto Christmas In full: A brilliant way to get into the festive mood. Between the 5K and the mini dash, eight of our family took part. As ever, Alan and his team deserve a big mention for the slick organisation. A great effort. You'll struggle to find a more motley collection of runners anywhere. This is what city-centre fun runs should be all about. Rounded it all off with a Bratwurst at the German Christmas Market. Date of review: December 7, 2009

In short: Half-marathon: wonderfully organised, very friendly and pretty hilly In full: Review for half-marathon: the organisation was flawless, the surroundings are breath-taking. The whole set-up was straightforward and accommodating. The soup at the end was very welcome, especially after battling those hills towards the end. Well done to the organisers - a first-rate event. In short: Well organised, fun and great value In full: Once again the atmosphere at this 10K was great. It was really well organised by Carla and her team. They booked glorious weather for the second year running. And it still only costs seven quid. Date of review: September 14, 2009

In short: Alan, turn the temperature down a touch next time In full: An excellently organised race, with the unique challenge of the tunnel incline. The prom from Seacombe Ferry to Vale Park looked as wonderful as ever. My only gripe is that Alan had the thermostat turned up a little high. I found twenty-odd degrees along the prom with no shade a bit challenging. I know, we moan when it rains and we moan when the sun shines. Top race, very highly recommended. In short: Fabulous weather and a wonderful route In full: Alan and his team came up with a great route for this year's HM. Good use of the spaces at the Echo Arena for the start and finish. The roads around L8 are fascinating, and the parks looked great. Good views all the way back in along the Prom. Date of review: March 30, 2009

In short: A good challenge In full: Although the course was flattish, it was perhaps a tad more challenging than your average 10K park race, with a few blustery sections to contend with (mind you, it is mid-October on the coast - what do you expect?), as well as a muddy detour through a field. The atmosphere was friendly, and the banana at the end was more than welcome. The organisation was fine. Do it again? Definitely. Date of review: October 20, 2008
