In short: Very impressed - well done to all
In full: Can't really add to anything good that's already been said. Just a very enjoyable, well organised event. Loads of runner-to-runner spirit and the marshalls were very good too. Managed to knock 16 mins off my time in 2011, so that was the icing on the cake..

In short: Not sure which is tougher - Marlow Half or Downton Half
In full: This is a well organised and friendly run. Enthusiastic support and marshalls on the course which helped. The New Forest ponies and cows make interesting obstacles, especially the one Pony that thought I was racing him :-)
Hard for a PB but satisfying to finish. Medal is really naff and looks like something you'd get at an Egg & Spoon race at school. I'd swap it for a big Mars Bar to be honest. Will be back next year to try to break my personal course record.

In short: Well organised, well marshalled and pretty decent race. Good mix of abilities and local support good in places. No Goody Bag (well - a banana). Nice Medal though. Get there early (like they advise you to) as queues for loos & bag drop were long.

In short: Simply an Excellent race
In full: Brilliant organisation, great Goodie bag (worth more than the actual entry fee), good support on the course. If only they could flatten the first bit of the course a little bit...

In short: Well done Fleet - thanks for the weather too :-)
In full: What an excellent race. Atmosphere was amazing, great local supporters and even during the race there were runners encouraging each other. Not sure race what 'pmo' was reviewing, but I think he's reviewed the wrong race or he had his headphones in, because his "soulless" comment makes no sense whatsover.
It's too undulating for a PB realistically and it's never gonna win a beauty contest - but a very well managed, friendly event with two lengths of the packed high street full of support. Love it - back next year !! Only one gripe is the goodie bag and medal is abit rubbish. I pace-maked a friend to break his 2 hour cherry (he did - comfortably!) and he really enjoyed the race too.

In short: Great fun & teamwork. Well organised 'waves' of runners meant the course never felt too busy. Not a run for PB Seekers as all of those blooming obstacles keep getting in the way - don't expect to use your trainers either !!

In short: Dem hills don't get any flatter !!
In full: My fourth year in a row at Marlow and one of the most satisfying races on the calendar - mainly knowing that you've tamed the beast of a course.
Marshalls were excellent and the whole event ran like clockwork. Great technical t-shirt at the end too.
Recommend to anyone who wants to run a hard but well organised enjoyable event. No negatives at all (apart from my Calves and Thighs which are still killing me on two days later).
See you next year.

In short: First time at Wycombe - I'll be back for the Goody-Bag !!
In full: First time doing this race. I was pre-warned about the first hill, but it was still tough climbing 300ft in just under a mile. Nice !!
Other than the hill, what an excellent race. Can't fault any aspect really. Great Medal, excellent Goody-Bag, great Marshalls, interesting but tough course and very good start/finish area organistation and setup.
Well done to the organisers - see you next year.

In short: Always a pleasure
In full: I've been running these for 18 years now and can't find fault with the races. Sandhurst Joggers simply just make everything easy and enjoyable - other race organisers should come and have lessons !!! WELL DONE AGAIN on another excellent race - keep it up guys.

In short: Come on Scotland - you can do better than that !!!
In full: I was really looking forward to this race my first Marathon, but left feeling somewhat disappointed.
The start area in London Road was good, although not enough toilets. The race should have used more of the city really, what about the Royal Mile, Princes Street etc.. it would have been amazing. The first 10 miles were reasonably interesting, then it got pretty dull really. Was there any thought or planning put into the finish area ? What a complete shambles. Once you fought your way through the spectator crowds and finally got to the reunion area, you were then faced with a 2 mile uphill hike to the Shuttle Buses (do they know how hard a marathon is ?).
Goodie Bag was nice though, decent medal and a great t-shirt.
The race distance was accurate. Throw your Garmins in the bin, they're known for not being very accurate. My new Nike+ TomTom GPS Watch said 26.22 miles, spot-on.
I'll definately come back to Edinburgh one year, but not for this race - more to see the sights of the City.
