In short: Leith Hill keeps on keeping...
In full: Another great Leith Hill half marathon. Still tough, painful, face grimacing fun :) The full English breakfast is very welcomed.

It's my third year and won't be me last, hopefully!...

Congrats to Claire Weldon, the first lady over the line, smashing the course record.

In short: Hard as nails but as fun as a bag of umpa lumpas!
In full: Awesome race, totally enjoyable despite the killer hills. Well organised, fun, wicked medal and gifts and not to mention a top fry up to finish... Must do race :)

In short: Don't expect to run it all, unless you're superhuman
In full: Tough as nails with some exceptionally killer hills, more x-country than I expected but that made it all the better.

Well deserved fry-up after the race along with a tech t-shirt (with your name on that back), a memento and medal. Well worth the £32 entry fee - if not just for the experience.

I'll be back next year for sure and I'd highly recommend taking part.

In short: Excellent atmosphere, well organised with a nice hill thrown in
In full: Tough for PB's but great race none the less. Extremely well organised with a great atmosphere. My only bad word against it would be that a large proportion of the course was tight, and with over 2000 runners that made for a slow start. There's a nice hill around the 4/5k mark, not overly steep but long. A good test for the legs. I would def recommend this run. Good fun :o)

In short: If you're going to do one trail race, make it this one!
In full: Running through bogs waste deep, thighs burning up hills with gradients of no less than vertical, rushing through single track forrest trails - the air burning your lungs. Aching where you didn't realise you could ache. Mud caked and tired you may hate every moment you've been running but you feel on a massive high when you finish. The challenge and fun is worth the pain.
