In short: Excellent race, well organised, great PB potential
In full: I love this half. I've been doing it for the last 4 years and is one of my 3 "musts" of the year (along with Brighton and Royal Parks). It's one of the best organised races of the year, really friendly local support and brilliant marshals, with loads of water stations and sponges. It's a really flat course two so great PB potential. The course can easily accomodate the number of runners so it doesn't feel too busy. For those that care, it's UK Athletics registered too, so appears on Power of 10 and Run Britain Rankings.

In short: The best marathon preparation race in the South East
In full: Glorious Scenic route, mildly undulating, extremely well organised and marshalled and so friendly! The was so much support along the route, so uplifting. An exceptional event. Certainly one for the calendar! And love the hoody!

In short: Great event but spoilt this year by innaccurate course measurement
In full: My third Brighton Half and I've always enjoyed the race, the atmosphere and the city, but totally disappointed this year as the race was about 0.4 of a mile too long thereby denying me a PB time by a good 2 minutes! A great fun run, and the course has good PB potential so I hope the organisers learn from this mistake for future years.

In short: Most enjoyable 10k of the year.
In full: One of the racing highlights of the year for me. Very well organised race, and the organisers, London Frontrunners are always very welcoming! Love the bagels and the goodby bag, and amazing to see Gareth Thomas supporting the run this year!

In short: Fun but challenging, friendly and very well organised.
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed the race. Very organised and friendly marshals. Everything went like clockwork which was no mean feat given that this was the first year for this race. Really enjoyed the route, with different terrain including road, beach, muddy tracks etc. I liked the there and back route as it meant we knew what to expect on the way back and got to support the other runners in the opposite direction.

We were particularly lucky this year with mild weather on the day. I should imagine it would have been considerably less enjoyable if it had been wet or windy or colder on the day.

Very little to fault the race or the organisation. There was plenty of water (even bottled water) and free fuel gels and jelly babies etc. Very friendly marshals.

One suggestion for next year. It would be great if there could be a few more marshals to direct runners through a few of the more challenging areas of the route. Although turns were marked with arrows, a few of them were not completely visible, particularly towards the end when runners were exhausted, and a few runners lost their way.

Congratulations to the organisers for a very successful race.
