In short: Exceptional marshaling
In full: Superb marshaling along a tricky course - they seemed to be in all the right places and very encouraging too.

In short: Immaculate marshalling
In full: A huge thank you to the army of marshalls who populated the long and windy course and especially to the man with the much-needed hose! A terrific course that keeps you interested throughout although the hilly sections towards the end put my teeth on edge!

In short: A charm of its own
In full: Who could possibly not enjoy running past the laid-back charms of the De La Warr pavilion and enjoying the table creaking with home-made cake at the end? Very flat (except for the hill near the end which took me by surprise!) this is a very enjoyable race and with a small field of around 200 runners would be ideal for beginners.

In short: Wonderful
In full: I had read about traffic problems in previous years (this was my first) but the marshalls were superb, no problems at all. Very enjoyable, it was quite breezy on the front so I banked some time early on and then watched it slip away into the breeze - but still a PB! Would agree with the unnecessarily cramped set-up at the finish line, is a joy to sprint down the track but then there is a lot of stuff going on a bit too close. But a minor gripe - certainly one of the best races and interesting to run in the evening for a change.
